In this riveting sequel to the USA TODAY bestseller If I Run, evil lurks, drawing Casey out of the shadows . . . but there is light shining in the darkness.

Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts—her most relentless pursuer—is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily.

As Casey works to collect evidence about the real murderers, she stumbles on another unbearable injustice: an abused child and a suicidal man who’s also been falsely accused. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong and protect the little girl from her tormenters. But doing so is risky and may result in her capture—and if she’s captured, she has no doubt she’ll be murdered before she ever steps foot in a jail cell.

IF I'M FOUND is the second installment in author Terri Blackstock's If I Run trilogy. Picking up right where If I Run left off, Casey Cox is still on the run knowing full well that she is the key suspect in the murder of her best friend. With her DNA at the crime scene, the murder weapon found in her car, Casey knows that she is being set up by some very bad people, namely cops. After risking exposure to find a kidnapped girl, and barely walking away unscathed in If I Run, Casey is on the move.

After changing her alias, again, Casey ends up investigating some really horrible people after an innocent man is accused of a very sick crime. Casey also ends up following a lead to the doorstep of a certain corrupt cops mistress and to the corrupt cop himself. One of the things that has been at the top of my list of things to like about this series, is Casey's determination to save others at the expense of being caught by the corrupt cops who continue to run her down. So, where does this lead Casey? To more trouble, to more people who need her help, to Dylan who has opened up Casey's eyes to faith, and to trusting that he is on her side without hesitation, or reservations.

Dylan Roberts was hired by the family to find Casey and bring her back to Shreveport where she will face trial, or death by those who don't want her to remain alive to tell her story. Dylan has since learned a few things about Casey, about Casey's father's suicide, and about the corrupt cops who have their hands into everything. Dylan is Casey's only real avenues of support, (outside of her sister who is being constantly watched and harassed) and the one person who has kept her from turning herself in where she will face death at the hands of corrupt cops.

Dylan's PTSD issues are real, and I am happy that Terri Blackstock doesn't push them to the side. He has points in this story, where the slightest loud noise triggers a response. What it does show is that Dylan relies on a whole lot of support, and his faith to get by. He also has a warm spot for Casey, and what she has been put through since her father's death. Dylan and Casey have found a bit of love in each other. Casey has opened her eyes a bit, and while still reckless, she understands that there is someone who genuinely cares what happens to her, not just her sister and her mother.

Terri Blackstock's alternating narratives between Cox and Dylan, and it's in the first person format. As this is the second installment in the series, I do recommend that you read the books in order. While I am not a huge reader of Christian Fiction, this series is still just as entertaining and action packed as any other series out there. In this story alone, you have car chases, child abuse, drug dealers who use kids in a very sickening way, and innocents who end up paying the ultimate price for very bad people getting what they want. You also get a POV from one of the corrupt cops who believes Casey is a burr in his saddle, and wants to ensure she doesn't walk away while bring his house of cards crashing down in flames.

The third installment in this trilogy, If I Live, released in 2018. Plenty of time to read the first two installments before we find out how the author is going to resolve this trilogy and give Casey and Dylan their HEA.
