Bougt, Borrowed & Bagged [225]: Announcement!

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, ongoing events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Borrowed the audio version of Amy Schumer's The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo, and the ebook version of Sarah J. Maas' Empire of Storms. The Arrangement by Sarah Dunn is an eGalley, and I'm so lucky to receive a final copy of J.R. Ward's Blood Vow

Talk Supe 2017

As you've probably noticed, I haven't been posting with the usual fervor. It's a combination of real life demands, reading slump, and a case of blogger existentialism (?). I'm not quitting but I also feel like I'm in the middle of a creative transition. So while things play-out, I will suspend a couple of my hosted memes, Bought, Borrowed & Bagged and Books & Crafts, next year since I can't keep up with the hosting responsibilities which is unfair to you all. I'll still post when I can, I'll just remove the linky.

Thanks to everyone who linked up through the years! I hope y'all's Decembers are doing fantastic.

Recap

Bought, Borrowed & Bagged is a laid-back meme, please use your LABEL OR TAG LINKS and not your post links that way you don't have to update your linky every week.

  1. I'm sorry you're feeling a bit stressed about blogging. I'll still be happy to see your posts -so no worries about not wanting to worry about the hosting duties of memes, etc.

I really want to read Amy Schumer's memoir. Soon, I hope!

  2. Oh no, Braine! I do understand the need to maybe re-evaluate things and make sure your blog is still a fun hobby and not something you have to do, though.
Enjoy your new books and have a wonderful week ahead! xoxo

  3. I do understand. My Sunday posts have been pretty darn short the past month or so. I'm so glad I did a blog ahead challenge or I would really be stressing. Hope you have a fab holiday and take care of yourself. I'll still be dropping in. :-)

  4. I understand. Things happen in Real Life that we can't control. I'm also not posting my Sunday Brunch at the moment, since I'm busy. I really love the linky, but I understand. Have a great holiday.

  5. There are so many of us going through a blogger slump right now and we all started around the same time so maybe it's like a seven year itch type of thing expect a five year one. :P Either way, I hope your reading slump breaks soon, those are the worst. Maybe after all the holidays we will all feel more like ourselves again.

  19. I completely get it. I don't participate in any memes for that exact reason. I have a hard enough time visiting, reading and writing reviews. I'm glad to hear you're not quitting. Hang in there. :-)
