Bought, Borrowed & Bagged [201]: Strawberry Festival w/o Strawberries

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Bought, Borrowed, & Bagged

Super cute paper bookmarks that Bookworm Brandee sent me!

Strawberry Festival

I went to the annual Strawberry Festival earlier today... and there were no strawberries nor other produce to be found. There were a lot of flea-market-like stuff and an array of barbecued foods but we didn't partake in any because WE WANT STRAWBERRIES!

We were told that because of the inclement weather, not to mention it was unnaturally cold here in Middle Tennessee for this time of the year, the farmers were unable to harvest their produce in time.

Recap

Bought, Borrowed & Bagged is a laid-back meme, please use your LABEL OR TAG LINKS and not your post links that way you don't have to update your linky every week.

  1. Lol that's kind of ironic that the strawberry festival had no strawberries! Too bad about the weather.

  2. What! No STRAWBERRIES at a strawberry festival. That doesn't seem right at all. I see that we both got Forevermore. I hope you love all of your new books.

  3. How is there no strawberries at a strawberry festival? It should be illegal.

  10. Oh nice book haul! I got the Christine Feehan and Kristin Callihan, too.

Oh no, strawberries! We don't have a strawberry festival around here, but I wonder if our 'season' will start late b/c it's been really cold and wet here.

    1. Same here, we have some but it's sour and the fruits are not as red. It's warming up so hopefully we'll get a sweeter harvest

  14. That sucks about the strawberry festival. They've had a hard time here too with many losing their entire crops because of all of the hail we had a couple weeks back. It was sad :(

  15. We didn't have blueberries this year because of a warmer than usual winter. I guess the plants couldn't' go dormant and produce fruit on time.

    Love those bookmarks!
