Bought, Borrowed & Bagged [192]: @HouseofCards S4on @Netflix

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Bought, Borrowed, & Bagged
One book! Woot! I deserve a pat on the back!

Big & Small
HOUSE OF CARDS Season 4 is already on Netflix! I started watching the episodes and it picks up where S3 left off. Claire left Frank and she went back to their townhouse. Meanwhile, Lucas Goodwin (Zoe Barnes' boyfriend and editor) is back and still in prison. I'm now wondering if he'll be Frank's downfall. Neve Campbell also joined the cast and she plays Leann Harvey, a lawyer who is going to help Claire pursue her own political ambitions. I'll update y'all via Facebook/Twitter if Neve's a worthy edition or not and if S4 is just as good as the previous ones.

Recap

Bought, Borrowed & Bagged is a laid-back meme, please use your LABEL OR TAG LINKS and not your post links that way you don't have to update your linky every week.

  1. I saw this posted somewhere on-line and have been wanting to find out more about it. I know the focus is on more sheisty behavior without his wife, and it sounds interesting. Can't wait to get updates from you! Hugs...

  5. I might be the only person on the planet who doesn't like House of Cards. I started to watch it, but I hated all the characters. Yes they were well done, but I couldn't root for anyone. I wanted to stab every single one of them in the throat. I just didn't care, so I quit watching. I think I made it most of the way through season one. I kinda felt the same way through Breaking Bad, but at least there, there was a few people who were good, though I didn't love that show. By the end of the fourth season, I was just watching to see how it all ended, but didn't really care.
