It's a new year and there's a new linky for my humble weekly recap meme. Whether you're a return participant or a new hopper, THANK YOU for joining, your participation is much appreciated.
Also as this is a laid-back meme, please use your LABEL OR TAG LINKS and not your post links that way you don't have to update your linky every week.

I had no idea there were making this! Gah! I think I will have to watch it as well. ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the books!
Let's make it a date! :D
DeleteOh, man, Jane Austen is turning in her grave! This is so beyond ridiculous * shakes head * But, well, at least it doesn't lack for originality... Nice new books, babe - enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I haven't read the books, I remember there was a slew of classic tales that were reimagined and was given a horror/supernatural twist.
DeletePP and zombies, wohooooo
ReplyDeleteWohooooo!
DeleteI read the book and it a decent enough read, especially since I didn't like the original 'classic'. I will be watching the film because I just love zombies!
ReplyDeleteThe movie looks entertaining enough
DeleteOMG, that trailer looks hilarious! I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteRight?! Like I said, it looks very entertaining
DeleteYour new books this week look great, Braine, and I hope you'll enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteNot a big fan of zombies, so I don't think I'll watch Pride and Prejudice and Zombies... It does look kind of fun, though.
Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading.

I'm reversed in that I don't like reading about them, but I have fun watching zombie showss
DeleteI love it. Nothing is sacred. lol
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental My Sunday Memes
Psh, when thy started making bible movies, you know that nothing will be spared
DeleteVeiled Magic looks interesting. Hope you enjoy your books and have a great upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteYup, I really enjoyed her Baba Yaga series, I hope I enjoy this just as good if not better
DeleteI read P&P&Z a while back, and, I don't know...to me it was basically reading Austen's original text with some zombie scenes thrown in. I'm a diehard Austen fan, so maybe I took the updating a little too personally or something, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it so I have no idea. I think it's hilarious though that this book is out. I want to check it out of curiosity.
DeleteOMG! I need to see this movie! Trailer had some Charlie's Angels vibe going on, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think it's funny
DeleteNot a zombie fan, but I just may have to crossover to the dark side b/c its Jane Austen, too. ;)
ReplyDeleteHey, I grabbed Veiled Magic, too.
Hahaha! Cross over... oh lawd, I so want to know what it's about as I haven't read the book
DeleteI've never read Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies either. I am curious about the film though! I'm sure it will be quite fun.

It does look entertaining, right?
DeleteI'll pass on the Zombie adaptation but your book haul looks good, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe'll let you know how it worked :D
DeleteOMG. That movie looks awesome! Thanks for sharing it, B.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they were making a movie for this! I've had the book on my TBR for forever, so now I definitely need to read it!
ReplyDeleteI like the look of Veiled Magic. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Pride and Prejudice and Zombie's before. Looks interesting!
Nice haul of books, Braine. I've always wanted to read Anne Calhoun so I'll look forward to your thoughts on The Muse. As for P&P&Z...I actually read the book. Being a huge fan of P&P, I thought the book was okay (this is my only real experience with zombies). There were moments where I felt like SGS kept in character for Lizzy but then there were times where I thought "There's no way Lizzy would do that." We'll see if I go see the movie...
ReplyDeleteThe movie looks fun! Everyone was tweeting about the trailer all weekend but this was the first chance I had to watch.
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
I didn't even know they were making that book into a movie lol I already know I'll have to watch it :D
ReplyDeleteOh my! I missed hearing that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was coming out in a movie! That is so cool. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited for PaPaZ too, I haven't read the book either - I tried once but I felt bad as I hadn't read the original y'know? Maybe I should just ignore that feeling and give it a read. Anyway the trailer is done so perfectly because it'll draw in people who dont usually watch those kinds of movies :D
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the movie too! :)
