I have a lot of books I consider "Rockin'", the collage has a few of my favorites.
My definition of a Rockin' Read is a book must be unique in it's own way, the MC's should be engaging and badass, the plot should be exciting, and naturally, the writing should be able to ROCK MY WORLD!
What's your Rockin' Read?

Thanks for the giveaway, Braine. As for what has rocked me in 2015...Kristen Ashley. I think I've read 4 or 5 of hers so far this year and KA rocks! CD Reiss would go on that list as well...and JA Huss. I'll stop there. ;)

I am really behind with the elemental assassin series, but the books I read I loved, I just have to make time to continue the series soon. I own Written in Red, but haven't started the series. Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much. Some of y favorutie boosk this year are Visions by Kelley Armstrong, Summer Haikus by SJ Pajonas, Promises Under the Peach Tree by Joanne Rock, Destiny Rising by Siobhan Davis and I am sure I am forgetting a few.
ReplyDeleteYou read one of my rocking reads, Melanie Karsak. But I have a few that I always go back to in my thinking and suggestions. For Fantasy I suggest Michael J. Sullivan's Riyria series. For Urban Fantasy with a bit of a tough mouthy vampire & different main characters per book, I go with Skyla Dawn Cameron's Demons of Oblivion series.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Cherie Priest's Maplecroft, Jackaby by William Ritter, House Immortal trilogy by Devon Monk and Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews.
