Bought, Borrowed, 'n Bagged [165]: Jason Bourne, Supervillains, and a Panda

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Bought

Bagged
from publishers & authors

Hot Point by M.L. Buchman I won from Book Liaison.
Dark Wild Night & The Drafter are from the publishers (THANK YOU!).
The rest is from Grace, Books of Love, who surprised my with a chunky box of bookish delight. Thank you SW! xoxo

Big & Small
  • Matt Damon is reprising his role as Jason Bourne in Bourne 5, and it's not going to crosssover with Jeremy Renner's plotline. The adventure will start in Greece and end in Vegas. Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander (Ex-Machina) will be joining the cast.

  • And I know I'm not the only one excited for Suicide Squad (8.5.16)

  • And this, Kung Fu Panda 3 (1.29.16)

Recap

It's a new year and there's a new linky for my humble weekly recap meme. Whether you're a return participant or a new hopper, THANK YOU for joining, your participation is much appreciated.

Also as this is a laid-back meme, please use your LABEL OR TAG LINKS and not your post links that way you don't have to update your linky every week.

  6. That is a huge haul for one week. It's enough to keep me busy for more than a month! And I don't have a job to go to. I have the Readers of Broken Wheel also. It's yet another super long title for me.

    1. I'm holding off on The Drafter, the science part had me rereading parts lol. So I want to read the easier books first and save it for last this week.

  10. Thanks again for the head's up on The Girl on the Train sale! I one-clicked that FAST, lol. Harmony House looks pretty creepy; I will let Melissa know about that one because I think it would totally be her thing. Enjoy all of your new books, Braine!

I want to read what you were reading the other day. The one about fairies but not about fairies.

  13. Girl on the Train is such a strange and disturbing little read. I enjoyed it, but don't expect to like any of the characters. Talk about ISSUES. I grabbed many of the same books that you did this week. Here is to a great week.

  22. Oooo, omg! SO MANY BOOKS! My sister bought THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN, so I’ll have to see if I could steal it for a while, hehe :P And I really enjoyed THIS MONSTROUS THING and PRISONER OF NIGHT AND FOG is amazing. I’m super excited for Suicide Squad and the Kung Fu Panda 3 trailer looks really funny (although I didn’t really enjoy the 2nd movie as much as the 1st). Happy reading!! :D
