Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #141: Game of Thrones Mixed Tape II!

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Bought
Parasol Protectorate is on sale for only $2.99. Shout-out to Lily Element Reviews for the head's up!

These two are only 99pennies each! Steal!

Borrowed
Springbreak is here although there's still snow outside :/... go figure!
So my son and I are bonding over The Silmarillon by Tolkien. It doesn't have much dialogue, it's more like storytime with 28 audio-videos running around 25 minutes each. I love the one narrating though. Great bedtime listening. Now this is tagged under "Borrowed" but really we're listening via YouTube.

Bagged
from publishers & authors

Big & Small

15 tracks. Great line-up of artists. Grab it on March 17!
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 12. Check your local listings for the schedules.

Last Week's Reviews

It's a new year and there's a new linky for my humble weekly recap meme. Whether you're a return participant or a new hopper, THANK YOU for joining, your participation is much appreciated.

Also as this is a laid-back meme, please use your LABEL OR TAG LINKS and not your post links that way you don't have to update your linky every week.

I've read bits and pieces of The Silmarillion but never read the whole thing from beginning to end. You can listen on YouTube? Hmmm.

Enjoy all of your new books. :)

  6. I've been reading Gail Carriger's steampunk series, but not the Heartless one. Is it like a pocketbook kind of series, a quick read? :)

    1. I heavily rely on either Netflix or on demand. I don't have the patience to sit through commercials or waiting for the darn show to start... except for The Walking Dead lol

Funny, here in Colorado we're always glad there's snow for spring break (last week of March for us) so we can ski! :) I'm thinking I might have to one-click Boy Toy...hmm....

  21. Great haul this week, Braine! I forgot to put the CD Reiss series on mine last week... I actually 'have to' watch at least one episode of Game of Thrones for one of my classes this semester :D I haven't watched any yet, but I think it's really good that we're doing something really current.
    I hope you're having a fantastic week!
