Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #128 + The Battle of Five Armies

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Big & Small

I know y'all have seen this trailer so forgive me for not posting anything new but allow me to share why though, LOTR has recently became my family's holiday tradition. We're Filipinos and we celebrate Christmas on the Eve, starting with Midnight Mass followed by a Midnight Feast then we open gifts. Christmas Day is used for extended family time or just staying home vegging out. We've added Mr. Tolkien to the list of activities by watching the first 3 movies for Christmas and The Hobbit Trilogy for New Year's. Definitely excited for this one, it perfectly rounds up my holiday as I balance a big plate of food on my already full belly.

The Battle of Five Armies hits theaters on 12.17.

  2. My husband is a huge fan of LotR movies, and of course, The Hobbit. The funny thing is, he watches them out of order all the time. Drives me nuts! I think he's doing it on purpose. Grrrrr. Anyway, enjoy, hun. Looking forward to your thoughts on these books.

    Have a great week!

    1. Peter Jackson is a frickin' genius & even if he took liberties with the stories for theatrical purposes, it's still great! I hope you get to watch it soon!
