Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #127 + Cinderella

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Big & Small

So what do you all think of this upcoming CINDERELLA adaptation? I was hoping it'll be darker much like the original tale. From the looks of it it's a live action movie of the Disney version. CINDERELLA hits theaters 3.13.15

    1. Yup, I hope that it's good too. I might read it this holiday week, UF/PNR isn't cutting it enough for me, I'm thinking maybe fantasy fantasy might do the trick

  5. Lots of people getting the Robson book. :)

I'll wait until Cinderella is available for live streaming but like you, I hope it will be true to the original darker version.

  6. Sexy-looking haul this week, Braine! I hope you'll enjoy all your new books! You certainly deserve that after the ones you reviewed last week...
I'm not sure if I'm excited or not about yet another Cinderella version. I love fairy tales, but sometimes adaptations and 'new' versions kind of kill them instead of enticing me.
    Have a fabulous weekend, Braine.

    1. Thanks, Lexxie, I try to be very selective about the books I request but sometimes I fail too. Oh well.

  7. Nice mixed bag of reads. I'm curious about the Hunter one and Shadow Ritual.

I just saw the trailer for the new Cinderella the other day. Not sure how I'll like it, but I love fairytales so I'll definitely see it.

  19. Nice haul this week!
As for the Cinderella movie, I'm hoping it's just a live action movie of the Disney version but mostly for my daughters sake, she's only 5 and loves the cartoon version. She's already in love with those glass slippers, and her Mum a little bit too....;-)
    Have a great week.
