Big & Small
- KNIGHTS OF THE ROUNDTABLE - Guy Richie is working on a new King Arthur movie based on the epic Le Morte d'Arthur or The Death of King Arthur tentatively coming out 2016. Charlie Hunnam is slated to lead the movie with Jude law as Merlin. I have to say I'm excited for this, I hope Richie does justice to the epic & not just focus on the love triangle.
- FORTY THIEVES - Not much news yet on this planned movie but it's based on Ali Baba's story and it's supposedly an action comedy kind of movie. It's been reported that Liam Hemsworth and Evan Peters have tested for the roles. Sounds interesting.

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman |
- WONDER WOMAN - I'm not the biggest superhero fan but I don't like my chain getting yanked. Like some of you, I've been teased by Wonder Woman movies and TV series since superheroes became "it" again and I can't take another letdown. The latest on this is Warner Bros. is in negotiations with director, Michelle MacLaren, to direct the movie set to hit theaters in 2017. MacLaren's directed in a few hit TV shows, fingers crossed she'll do justice to the movie.

Wow look at all your wins and goodies, that is awesome, congrats!
ReplyDeleteAh Wonder Woman, I really do hope they do the tv series justice.
I just want them to get WW done and stop teasing us you know!
DeleteNice haul of books. You got some great looking swag this week. Gail Gadot as wonderwoman is an interesting choice. I will believe that the Wonder Woman movie/series gets made when I see the actual trailer for it.
ReplyDeleteGrace
Amen! All they do is talk about it, to see is to believe
DeleteBook envy here!
ReplyDeleteI loved the Wonder Woman TV series and I'm nervous that they do a good job with this one.
I still vaguely remember Linda Carter as WW but I did love her cuffs & lasso
DeleteThose are some nice wins/goodies :D
ReplyDeleteThank you 😊
DeleteOoh, sweet haul this week, Braine! I tried reading Le Morte d'Arthur way back at some point in my teenage years but just couldn't get into it. Here's hoping that the movie adaptation grabs my attention a lot better, lol.
ReplyDeleteEpics are hard to read esp in poetic form. I have one that was in prose, it was slightly easier to get through. My limit was 1 chapter a day & I'm still not done with it LOL
DeleteDang, those are some great wins!! Congrats. Wonder Woman better happen!
ReplyDeleteLet's pickey for WW!
DeleteHm, I do wonder about the Arthur movie
ReplyDeleteGuy Richie is legit, let's hope this movie won't be his first epic fail
DeleteSeriously!!! You little winner! I am so jealous of that haul. I am reading Black Widow now. EPIC!
ReplyDeleteI have to read the previous two books before that. Gah!
DeleteWow, congrats on your wins and all your lovelies! :)
ReplyDeleteHunnam as Arthur? That could be interesting. This is the first I've heard of the movie, I'll have to keep my eyes open. I've always been partial to the King Arthur story.
I think he can pull it off, he just has this "swag" that sort of stereotypes him
DeleteCongratulations on the loot! So much awesome. I never had much luck with contests. :/
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your haul, hun!
Thank you, I hope I win something big soon! Got my eye on a few pricey books LOL
DeleteKnights of the Roundtable sounds interesting. I hadn't heard about it before and congrats on all the books and swag!
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth

Yup, I think a lot of us are guilty of doing the twirl and imitating her wrist action.
