Bought, Borrowed, & Bagged #121 + Twin Peaks

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Big & Small

TWIN PEAKS is coming back with 9 new episodes in 2016 y'all!

Okay I know a LOT of you probably don't know why I'm getting worked up over this after all the original series was cancelled 25 years ago. Yup, I'm old and on my defense, I was in elementary when the show was on so I'm not ancient.. yet.

Anyway, TWIN PEAKS started as this very noir murder mystery which slowly turned into something supernatural. I had the biggest crush on Kyle McLachlan and his penchant for cherry pie romanticized the dessert for me. Now I don't know if he's coming back to reprise his role but I sure would like some of them to return and see where they are now.

  7. Twin Peaks!!! YAY - and I guess this means I'm truly ancient, because I was in my teens when the series first started. I had a huge crush on Kyle, too, Braine ;)

You got an amazing selection of books this week. There are several that are on my TBR shelf. The Succubus Blue series is pretty good, especially the first few books in the series... Afterwards, I think I became too smart - I was able to guess some of the big plot-points.

    Happy reading, Braine.

  8. OMG, my 8th grade self thought Kyle MacLachlan was pretty hot back then, hahaha! It's funny you mentioned the Twin Peaks reboot because Ally was just asking me the other day if I'd seen the original. And obviously I'm freaking out about Blue Lily, Lily Blue releasing in just about a week!

  9. Awesome haul. I remember when I was younger, that Kyle MacLachlan was so hot at least in my younger self's mind. So many good books sweetie. Some of them look very sexy indeed.

  11. I see a couple in your pile that I look forward to seeing what you think. I've never read GA Aiken so I'm curious about the dragons. Same thing with the Julieann Walker series.

I vaguely remember Twin Peaks, but hey, if you like it, its totally okay to get excited. ;)

  13. I heard about Twin Peaks coming back. I also remember it from when it was first on. I was about 13 when it was last on and it wasn't something I was interested in back then but I'd probably have to watch it now so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Ha! I remember heaps of people having a crush on Kyle McLachlan, it will be interesting to see if he at least has a cameo. Have a great week Braine.

  18. Okay, yay! for Succubus Blues. I love that series!! And yay for Mercy Thompson, too. ;) On to Twin Peaks...I, like Lexxie, am ancient because I was a teen when the show was on. I actually watched t.v. back then and I loved this one! And I crushed on Kyle MacLachlan as well.*sigh*
