Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #120 + Homeland

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Big & Small

Summer TV has been so lame for me and I'm so happy that Fall is brimming with awesome shows, old and new, worthy of couch potato status. HOMELAND is one of those returning series that I'm most looking forward to this year. Last season left us with this jaw dropping, WTF! DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?! ending and I want to know what mess Carrie (Claire Danes) is going to find herself in next.

My only take away is we won't be seeing Annoying Dana and her convoluted and exasperating show of teen angst. Thank God that trainwreck is over!

HOMELAND S4 premiers October tomorrow, October 5, 2014, and we're treated to new back-to-back episodes so make sure you check your local listings and catch the show if you're a fan.

  1. Everyone keeps telling me how awesome Homeland is, but alas, I don't have Showtime. Maybe I can catch it on Netflix or something eventually. Enjoy the season premiere, Braine! :D

  7. You got Reckoning! Are you enjoying the series?

I'm enjoying fall tv too although I'm having to watch it on the internet, several days after it airs since I currently don't have cable.

    Happy reading and tv watching!

    1. I love the series, it's different from other UF that I read.

I'm like that too with some of the series esp the ones that come in at 9pm onwards. Watching it in succession is actually better, binge watching and getting it all seen in a day. No need to schedule your day around the time slot of the show.

  10. Congrats on all the books, I too am so excited for all the fall shows. I have a ton that I watch and summer really is slow without them but that is okay, it is usually when I end up reading more since I am not watching as much tv. ;)

  13. Nice book hall. I want to start S.J. Harper - Fallen Siren series. Hopeful I'll get to it. I'm trying to not buy anymore books this year except my pre-orders. I have so many Free books I want to try out. That one-click free on amazon is hazards. My kindle is full of free books.
