HELP WANTED! Reviewers Needed!

The moment has finally arrived where I have to ask for HELP! And I'd really appreciate it if you could lend a hand.

Long-time bloggers, you well know the demands and pressure to keep a blog healthy and updated and the number of hours it requires to keep it relevant and afloat not to mention the hours upon hours of reading that goes with it.

That said, I felt it's time I share the pleasures of blogging with someone, or a couple, and give Talk Supe a fresh voice and perspective. I won't go wax poetic and get to the point. Below are my expectations:

  • I understand the demands of real life so I need someone who can review a book at least ONCE A WEEK

  • I prefer someone who reads CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE, be it YA, NA, or Adult including erotica, because I love fantasy so much it's my priority.

  • It's okay if you have your own blog, consider this a side-line or a recurring guest appearance or something like that.

  • I value comments, they are a blogger's soul food, so it's IMPERATIVE that you take the time to respond to comments left on your respective posts.

  • That said, I also value hospitality and encourage you to visit your favorite blogs, or the blogs of your commenters, and return the favor by commenting back on their posts, etc. It's not rocket science, the blogosphere is a tit-for-tat kind of world, you get what you give and comment karma is almost always instantaneous ;)

So HERE's the sign-up form and I THANK YOU in advance for your interest. As for my fellow bloggers and followers, I'll offer a blood sacrifice in your name to the book gods to show my appreciate in helping me spread the word. There's that handy Shareaholic buttons at the bottom of this page for easy sharing, thank you! Thank You! THANK YOU for sharing!

UPDATE: I'm closing the form, I have a few responses already. THANK YOU to everyone who helped me spread the word. Will get in touch with the respondents soon!

  2. It's about time! You're one of the only long running blogs I know who's still flying solo. Best of luck with your search! It's hard finding reliable reviewers, but once you do, they are LIFESAVERS!!

  4. Best of luck! What I ended up doing was just cutting out the Saturday reviews. There is so little traffic on Saturday it isn't worth the pressure. Only having three reviews a week has given me so much more time. Good luck!

    1. I very rarely review on Saturdays too unless I missed out posting on a week day and I've cut out memes, tours and what-not. Still not enough time to do much shit! LOL

  7. As owner of Harlie's Books, I feel your pain. I've never had a reviewer to help me out. I've stopped reviewing books for blog tours (long, painful story). I will still review on my blog but after what I went through the last month...it might be awhile.

For us single blogger/reviewers its always tough to find people that will actually stick around. I could guest blog/review for you anytime. I LOVE contemporary romance.

P.S., I'll tweet and FB for you, too. :)

  10. I like Heidi's suggestion. Weekend posts get little views (at least from my experience). Same with Harlie, I love contemporary romance! I would love to help by guest reviewing, too. Good luck, Braine!

I know, alas it's time otherwise I'll lose my mind. I need a helping hand at this point and I need a little oomph back here. Hopefully a fresh perspective can help with that.

  19. I'll "advertise" on Sunday, too! Definitely cut out Saturday reviews!! UGH! Nobody reads on Sat!!! Maybe even add a meme in the middle of the week that you can schedule out FAAARRRR, that will free a day in the week to READ :)

Good luck, girl!!! I feel your pain, too but I just don't post (ha!!!!)

    1. That's just it, I don't have a lot of time to even squeeze meme's in, the editing takes a lot of work and linking up and doing the rotations. Sigh. I rarely post reviews on Saturdays unless it's a commitment.

My posts is slowly trickling down and i'm feeling it to "here" so I know it's time.

Thanks in advance for helping me spread the word, Kristin!
