Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #101 + Constantine

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Big & Small

First it was Arrow, then Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with Gotham soon to hit the small screen. Constantine is the latest comic book hero to join the slew of superheroes on prime time TV. Love the accent but I prefer a Keanu Reeves look-alike.

The series stars Matt Ryan, Lucy Griffiths, Harold Perrineau and Charles Halford.

  1. Ooh, I'm thinking of one-clicking Redmerski's series too! *haha* Because, you know, I don't have anything to read! ;) I'm interested to see what you think of White Collared too. I'm reading a BDSM right now and I guess it's really the first 'real' BDSM I've read. And I'm finding it fascinating! Hope you're having a fab weekend, my friend. We went on a family hike today...awesome!

  2. Constatine looks interesting. I do like that they are going to do more Superhero series. Great selection of books this week.

    Your SW

    1. I'm also enjoying the slew of superhero series. :)

      Happy reading!

  3. I'll be looking forward to your review of White Collared, Braine. I didn't request it, but I'm checking it out if it's really good :))) Constantine gets my pure love, I love the actor (he reminds me of the angel from Supernatural) and can't wait to see the series.

  4. oh they're all new to me I confess, but I'm curious to see what you'll think about them. Happy reading!

  5. Mmmm, yes, Killing Sarai FTW!!
Haha, with you on the Keanu Reeves point!
Can't wait to see what you thought about Mercy, hehe, I totally loved the diversity galore going on.

  6. White collared series sounds good and hope you enjoy. Happy reading and have a great weekend.

  7. I can't wait to check out Constantine and I finished House of the Rising Sun last week and my review will be up this week. I loved Blood Rule. Heather is a writing genius. Have a good weekend.

  8. I watched the first few episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and just could not get into it, even though I love all of the Marvel movies. Speaking of, I can't wait to see the new X-Men movie; Peter Dinklage, aka Tyrion Lannister, is in it!

  9. I hadn't heard of the new TV show but I suppose I wouldn't since I don't get any primetime, we're relying on Netflix for all television needs. If he has an accent I might like it though, lol. Happy reading!

  10. I hope Constantine will be good

  11. Constantine does look interesting...guess we'll have to see...

  12. I keep seeing tweets about Constantin and I have no idea! A few of my friends loved the Redmerski books. I hope you do too!

  13. I'm keen to watch the new Constantine. Nice haul! I want to read Marie's new book too.

  14. I definitely agree about the k. reeves look, but alas I will watch this because I loved the friggin movie. I hope it lives up to that.

    Great haul.

  15. Yay for Killing Sarai! That book was incredible and if I hadn't been exhausted I would have read it in one sitting! I hope you enjoy it (And all your other grabs)! Have a great week :)

  16. Killing Sarai sounds so so good! I have heard wonderful things about that series. Looking forward to your thoughts!
