Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #100

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE HOT MOMMA'S & SINGLE DADDIES OUT THERE, I HOPE Y'ALL HAVE A BLAST TODAY!

Big & Small

And yet we have another book that's going to be adapted in the small screen. This time it's PETALS ON THE WIND by V.C. Andrews. I haven't read any of her books nor am I familiar with this book but having a clean slate is sometimes good, no specific expectations. Speaking of which, I know I have Flowers In The Attic...

PETALS ON THE WIND premiers on Lifetime on May 26 at 9PM EST.

It was good, I rated it 4-cauldrons. Just too lazy to write up a review right now, hopefully I'll get round to it this week.

  4. I happen to have read flowers in the attic many years ago. It was a definite eye-opener because of how young I was when I read about incest. that was very nice of Andrea to send you all those lovelies. Happy Mother's Day.

  23. You haven't read V.C. Andrews?! I lived on her books as a teen! I didn't like Flowers in the Attic (the whole series) but all the others were wonderful (at the time, I haven't reread). I don't have cable or anything, but eventually I'll have to watch that movie!

    1. No, my teen books were R.L. Stein, Christopher Pike & Francine Pascal. Does that make me older? I remember seeing V.C. Andrew books when I was already in college and I've moved on to a different genre by that time.
