Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #93

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Bagged

Swag won from Sandy Williams
A personal note, trading cards, signed bookmarks and a few scratch and win tickets (unfortunately I didn't win).

Big & Small

AMERICAN HORROR STORY is one of my favorite horror series. They always change the theme in every season and after Coven, a lot of people are speculating what S4 will be about. It's been reported that next year the story is set in the 1950's and it'll take place in a Carnival. It was also reported that S3 is Jessica Lange's last season but I guess she's too valuable for the show and Ryan Murphy managed to convince her to stay as she'll still be part of the cast next year, German accent and all. I love this lady, she's amazing and she carries the series so well! I will certainly look forward to another horrific season!

  1. Awesome swag win. I love AHS too!!!! It wouldn't be the same without Jessica Lange. A carnival theme sounds fun.

  4. Wonderful swag and winning is so much fun. The Girl with the Windup Heart is an interesting title, I hope you like it.

I watched most of season one and part of season two of AHS but never really got into it. Horror's never really been my thing.

    1. I love it! S1 is the best for me still and I love horror, well the ghost kind of way, I don't like slasher stuff.

  14. Such a lovely swag pack! I'm pretty excited for the next season of AHS, unfortunately Coven didn't really impress me. It felt like they were trying something new and it lost a lot of aspects that I loved about AHS. It was too predictable and didn't have me on the edge of my seat watching it.
