No in-between…

He has become her life, her heart, her very soul. But he is dark and damaged, and his secrets are many. Sara will risk everything for him. He, in turn, will dare to expose his deepest needs, his most erotic desires. And in the fury of passion he will reveal all that torments him, all that he can never escape. To love him, Sara must embrace the darkest part of him, and become his shelter in a storm that will be his ultimate salvation.

Just when I thought everything is winding down, Lisa Renee Jones is far from done revving up Inside Out Trilogy. REVEALING US is as heart pounding and as my friend Hootie puts it, p*ssy wrecking as the rest of the series. The smex is smoking wet and despite the BDSM theme, it's done tastefully and not written to shock its readers. Plus as this is truly Sara and Chris' story, it's more romantic and the focus is on love and partnership than possession and dominance.

The evolution of Sara and Chris' relationship is so magnifique it's only fitting they start their new chapter in Paris. These two came from different worlds and had their share of relationship ebbs and flows. A lot has happened since If I Were You and these two really fought and worked hard to make their relationship work and it has finally paid off. I really, really have to give Sara props for being so patient and understanding sometimes to a fault. She's been doled out more than her fair share and still she decided to stick it our with Chris. The good thing is her unconditional love for Chris isn't in vain because Chris is just a sweetheart! He understands the meaning of partnership, trust, honesty and partnership, Sarah's more than safe with him.

Rebecca is still haunting the pages of REVEALING US and I felt a little melancholic reading her last thoughts. Even if I know that things ended tragically for her, reading her thoughts as she argues and convinces herself that going back to her Master isn't the best decision, still her heart still yearns for him. Even from miles away, Rebecca can still feel his pull and eventually succumbed to it. Despite the turnout, I'm still hoping that LRJones will pull out her magic wand and give Rebecca something to smile about from wherever she is.

And there's a big BUT! I should've known that LRJones is far from done with us. After Rebecca, there's now Ella, Sarah's former co-worker and the person who gave her Rebecca's journals. Ella supposedly eloped with her fiance in Paris but hasn't returned to the States since and nobody knows her whereabouts. Apparently the wedding was called off and Ella is now missing, her whereabouts unknown. Sarah hopes Ella didn't meet the same fate as the woman whose journals "inspired" them to make changes in their lives. Unlike Sarah who was fortunate enough to have met and kept the man of her dreams, it seems like Ella wasn't as lucky and her fate might be worse than Rebecca's. She's now Sarah's next Amber Alert which begs the question, Are there more Inside Out novels in the works?

Lisa Renee Jones, you're relentless that's why I heart you! You're a formidable Mistress and my heart and mind are in knots after reading REVEALING US!

I'd like to say that this is the last Inside Out Trilogy novel but from the looks of it, I think LRJones is far from finished with the world she created. That ending is hinting at a spin-off or a new story arc and I'd like to believe that LRJones will leave us hanging like that. And even if Sara McMillan and Chris Merrit's tale was tied in a neat little bow, there are still a lot of loose ends flapping carelessly in the wind that LRJones need to zip up starting with Mark Compton, The Master Undone is a turning point for this man. Then there's Ava who is accusing Sarah of murdering Rebecca, Rebecca's final whereabouts and now, Ella.

We'll see...
