Guest Blogger: Rally The Readers

Like Talk Supe, Rally The Readers is ran by cousins,
Lee, Ally and Melissa.
I love following their blog not just because of this little affinity I have with them but also because Lee and I watch the same shows and gab about it on Twitter and on their blog. Plus as I'm on a YA hiatus, I get my fix by reading their very insightful reviews.

So I present to you my favorite Rallyers and their recommended reads.
Cousins. Obsessive readers. Wannabe Shadowhunters. YA book bloggers.

Top Three Adult Reads

Soulless (The Parasol Protectorate) by Gail Carriger: This is such a fun read that's set in Victorian times with some very likable characters.

The River of No Return by Bee Ridgway: The time travel element in this book is spectacular, and the romance is swoon-worthy.

The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman: An outstanding historical fiction novel about Richard III and the Wars of the Roses. If you've only ever thought of Richard as the villain from Shakespeare's play, this book will give you an entirely different perspective on him.

Top Three Reads of the Year... so far

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare: We both stayed up VERY late several nights in a row reading this and were ready to collapse by the time we finished it. Amazing ending to one of our favorite series.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas: Hands down, Ally's favorite read of 2013 so far. Can't wait to read Crown of Midnight!

Sanctum by Sarah Fine: Lee almost cried when she had to return this to the library because it was SO good. So she bought her own copy the next day and has been very happy ever since.

Top Three Most Anticipated Books of 2013

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater: We both loved The Raven Boys and have been impatiently waiting for the sequel.

The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead: More Adrian, please

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi: Shatter Me has recently become one of Lee's favorite series, and she's dying to read about Warner again.

Total book compatibility!
I may not read a lot of YA these days but their book choices are indicative of their taste.

Not only do they read and review kick-ass novels but they're friendly, receptive and returns visits to their blog too!
