Bought Borrowed and Bagged #58

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

Bought
from Amazon

After reading Truly Madly Deadly I have a taste for more Hannah Jayne. Did a little happy dance when this went on sale at Amazon for $1.99!

Bagged
from Authors, NetGalley & Edelweiss

Big & Small
Shout out to Lee @ Rally The Readers for giving me a head's up about this upcoming Starz series. I've always been a Tudor girl, Henry VIII's liaisons is incomparable, better than any reality show. BUT after reading The White Queen (the show is based on the book) by Philippa Gregory, I have to say I felt a little sympathy for the Plantagenets. Now I can't wait to see the show, I hope the cast is as epic as Showtime's Tudors!

And RIP Corie Montieth, loved your S1 storyline. I used to love Glee until Lea Michelle started to become annoying on and off screen.

  2. I picked up My Lady Quicksilver too ~ love that series! Being a huge Tudor fan myself (seriously...I'm a bit obsessed) I read the White Queen to get a little more background and fell in love with the story. So excited for this show, even if Max (blech) is in it. I'm not a huge fan of his. I know, I know...let the raving start now. ;)

  5. I'm torn between wanting to watch The White Queen and not really wanting to add 20 bucks to my cable bill every month for Starz. Gah! Something tells me I'll cave in the end, though, lol.
