Bought Borrowed and Bagged #54

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired my The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

Sorry I was MIA last week, for some reason I suddenly have some sort of a social life lately. Haven't spent much time with my fantasy life. In any case, here are my goodies, it's not a lot but I love my new titles!

Bought
From Amazon

I am in LOVE with Juliana Stone so I was jumping for joy when this went on sale for $0.99! Can't get enough of her!

from Goodwill for $2.99
Another Christmas find! I have book 2 but haven't read it because I didn't have book 1 so when I saw this at Goodwill, suffice to say that it took a lot of self control for me not to shout with glee!

Bagged
from publishers
From Pocket Books: The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love by Erin Quinn & Caged Warrior by Lindsey Piper
From Sourcebooks: If The Shoe Fits by Megan Mulry

from Authors, NetGalley & Edelweiss

Big & Small
After playing Fitzgerald's infamous tortured hero, Jay Gatsby, looks like Leo diCaprio is set to play another infamous historical personality, Rasputin, the Russian monk who played a major role in the fall of Tsar Nicolas II's monarchy. Hopefully his portrayal of the controversial monk will be better than his version of Gatsby.

Now I am a Woody Allen fan, I always find his movies beyond entertaining because he has this unique talent of creating feel-good movies with substance plus he always has an A-list cast which makes it even better. Aside from Josh Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing (June 7), I am also looking forward to Blue Jasmine. I'm all for big movies with A-grade FX but I also like mellow movies that appeal to the heart and mind. Blue Jasmine starts showing on select New York and California theaters July 26. Fingers crossed this comes out on DVD ASAP!

What movie are you looking forward to seeing this summer?

These look like some great books, I hate when people get me books out of order but at least it gives us an excuse to go shopping for the others, huh? ;) I really want to read some of Anne Rice's books & also can't wait for Joss Whedon's MABN.
Hope you both have a had a lovely time whilst I've been MIA
