In part three of Rebecca’s Lost Journals, His Submissive , Rebecca must decide just how far she will go for the darkly intense man who she is falling in love with. And does she dare believe that he too, will ever love her?
Due to the strong sexual content of HIS SUBMISSIVE, this short is recommended for reader's 18 and up.
When you put that ring back on, there will be no holding back for either of us. You will belong to me.
I want you, Rebecca, but once I have you, I plan to push you. I can't do that if I'm afraid you'll crumble.
In The Contract (Rebecca's Lost Journals 2), Rebecca was left with a decision: to be the Master's submissive or not? In HIS SUBMISSIVE, we witness Rebecca explore her role as a would-be submissive. The Master pokes, prod and pushes her boundaries, giving her a good snapshot of what being a submissive entails and we slowly see Rebecca slowly embrace her role and find pleasure and liberation in being a sub.
HIS SUBMISSIVE is a very pivotal volume in this mini-series because this is where Rebecca's character development is highlighted as we see Rebecca's transition from lover to submissive. What I love about HIS SUBMISSIVE is how transcendent Rebecca's journey to Kink is. I love reading BDSM-Erotica but I don't think I can do the lifestyle much less be a submissive. I love how LRJones made her kink world so gritty and alluring, the darkness so tempting and right in some ways despite its aura of taboo and it's no surprise that Rebecca succumbed to the seduction and embraced the arrangement.
Like most things that are new, Rebecca's newly forged romantic relationship with the Master seems so shiny and exciting so despite how unconventional her sexual relationship with her Master is, Rebecca compromises with the hopes that it will lead to something more than great sex. And as BDSM relationships go, it's consensual and there's trust between them which makes things more palatable for Rebecca sort of. In fairness, I like how Master is watchful of Rebecca, ensuring that she has full grasp of their relationship and what being a submissive entails instead of taking advantage of her eagerness to please and be with him.
This powerful man will never belong to anyone.
Now I feel the crux of this is how long can Rebecca stay in this relationship. She's in this because of her feelings for her Master and not because she craves the lifestyle so I'm sure the issue of ownership will come up and I'm not talking about Master owning Rebecca but the other way around.
Make me proud, Rebecca, Sara MacMillan, and I are rooting for you, we can only hope you survived this.
