The problem with twins is that they look so much alike…
By day, Claire Robertson is a staff writer for a small publication in Seattle. But when the lights go down, she writes sizzling and oh-so-naughty erotica. She keeps these stories safely tucked away, hiding her secret fantasies of her hero, Dustin Murray. The man who stole her heart six years ago. And then jumped into bed with her twin sister.
Dustin never forgot Claire, or her twin sister’s lies that tricked him into sleeping with her. Nor has he forgotten that her sister’s threats have kept him silent for six years and cost him the woman he loved. Now that Claire’s returned home, Dustin isn’t about to lose her again. But it’ll be another thing to convince Claire he’s prepared to do whatever it takes to win her back.
When Claire accidentally sends the wrong story to her editor, things really heat up. With hot the new black in publishing, her editor thinks he’s struck gold and queues the story for publication. The last thing Claire needs is for everyone to learn that she’s got secrets of her own.

ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy. %^)
DeleteWhat is your inspiration Susan?
ReplyDeleteActually my own life in having to decide as a past teacher and parent, could I come out of the closet(?). This story evolved as I evolved as a writer. Going from writing non-fiction into the world of hot romance. But characters connect in love, deeply, and this is what came about. Metafiction (a story within a story) exploring erotica. Thanks for asking!
DeleteCongrats to Susan on the new release! This sounds great and I also put it on my wishlist :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Erin. The book was so much fun to write and explore this genre.
DeleteReally excited about this release!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
DeleteWhich Character did you have the most difficultly writing dialogue for?
ReplyDeleteAnother book to add to the TBR list.
Heather
Hey Heather,
DeleteWell, Fran was the easiest. Her natural inclination to take command, her past abuse, and her desire to overshadow her sister organically appeared. Claire required much thought in delivering her through the stages of grief and holding back the natural inclination to snap. Twins can have a special relationship and when dysfunctional it gets out-of-balanced. Thanks for the question. BTW, Fran has her own story, Savage Secret. I hope to have it out next year.
Thanks Talking Supe, Braine (hey girl-go TN!), and your lovely readers. So much fun and I appreciate the comments. I'm releasing across genres (an erotic fairytale, western, paranormal, and erotic horror,) so stay tuned. Happy Reading.
