You're all familiar with the infamous and resident Talk Supe Freak, Hannibal Lecter and NBC with Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies, Heroes) at the helm created a show based on the character from Thomas Harris' book series, Hannibal Lecter. The show is said to explore Hannibal's early days and how the brilliant psychiatrist became one of the most notorious serial killer the world has ever known. Hannibal The Beginning stars Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishbourne and Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter.

You know me, I love blood, gore and all the crazy that goes with it (except for zombies). This is definitely on my to-watch list. - Braine

I read the Life of Pi a few years ago after some friends recommended I read this amazon book. I should have known I wouldn't love it because I don't really do philosophical reads. All the symbolism with the animals and sprirituality bored me to death. The whole time I wished all the animals would have started singing "I like to move it, move it" like the lemurs in the movie, Madagascar.

Although I didn't enjoy is like some of my friends I really am looking forward to the film adaptation. It seems like Ang Lee has created a visually stunning film and I'm totally drawn to all the beautiful colors. Life of Pi hits theaters November 21st  - Cimmaron

  4. I've been fanning myself Miss Cimm...'Hot Ticket'....yowzer!! I think they haven't been released out of order, I think they have just decided to NG from book 3 onwards, as we can buy them on Amazon:) NG is just the latest books being released. I have been chatting with Source Books. Miss B I just read Deliver Me From Darkness and it was good. I am about to start DMFT. Hope you like:D

    1. After Rock Hard the series wen out of order. Double Time is supposed to be the last book of the series but Sourcebook had decided to release it before Hot Ticket. After Rock Hard it was suppose to be Jace's book, then Eric and then Trey. Olivia even mentioned it on her blog that it after Rock Hard if does go out of order and there wasn't much she could do about it because the publisher had decided to released it that way. I was a little upset because when you read Double Time it's obvious that it's the final book in the series but I'm not too upset because the books are still AMAZING.

    3. OOo now I understand. I was a bit WT??? when I was reading this book as I thought I was tripping a bit and I don't know what tripping feels like:D

Wouldn't it be simple to just rename the book numbers. Double Time # 4, Hot Ticket # 3. Bummer for those of us already read them ass up, as that was really weird. I was thinking , I know Aggie, I know Jace but now I KNOW THEM!! I knew Trey but now I don't, lol!'

Surely it is that simple. Hop on Goodreads change Double Time to # 4.?? Or am I missing why they can't simply do that to stop the reader reading back to front??

      Mich:D

  10. The trailer to LIFE OF PI looks simply amazing. I will probably see it on DVD as I will be able to fast forward scenes of animal death -- I have seen too much of that in real life.

The title COWGIRL VAMPIRES intrigues me and Samuel McCord! Thanks for visiting my blog today and taking time to comment. It meant a lot, Roland

  15. Awesome Haul, lovely ladies! I really want to get my hands on Hot Ticket and Take me! I have Double Time, but I haven't read any of the others in the series, does that mean I should start with the others first? I thought they were separate enough to read alone? O_o
I love the cover for Dead Statues and Keep Me Safe, I'll be adding those to the TBR! Have I told you yet that visiting your site is always detrimental to my bank account? So many pretties *strokes screen*
@Braine, Hannibal looks AWESOME! I have to check this series out and @Cimmaron singing and dancing animals? You crack me up lady!

  17. I think I saw a blurb about the Hannibal show in Entertainment Weekly recently. I'll give the rest of the family the heads-up about it because they love The Silence of the Lambs and gory TV shows in general.

  18. What a great haul this week, lots of awesome books! I see you've got several of Skye Warren's books, I won Trust in Me a little while back but still haven't made it around to reading it yet.

For some crazy reason your comment shows up in blogger but not with disqus lol, so I've got to figure out what's wrong with that. In answer about my library carrying cool books, most of my library books are from my state's digital ebook loan program. So I can usually get pretty new books delivered right to my kindle without leaving home. Thanks for stopping by!
