In My Mailbox #6

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren and was inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. It gives bloggers the chance to appreciate the books they've received, purchased, borrowed, won or traded during the past week and the wonderful opportunity to meet new people.

Braine:

Free from Amazon

A hodgepodge of free books that caught my attention either because of their ratings or fantastic covers.

Borrowed from the Library
Cimmaron:

Bought for Kindle
Slammed Series by Colleen Hoover
Soooo Good! I actually got this last weekend but didn't get to include it last weeks IMM. If you like YA/Contemporary Romance that deals with the not so ordinary and typical high school/college drama then I suggest you pick this series up. I promise it's good and the author mentions and references a band that I love and adore, The Avett Brothers. (Read my SLAMMED review HERE)
Love Unscripted by Tina Reber
Synopsis: Ryan Christensen just wanted to be an actor. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think he'd become the most sought after film star on the planet. Taryn Mitchell has been feigning contentment while running the family pub in Seaport, Rhode Island. Her peaceful life is tossed upside down when Ryan tries to outrun a group of fans by taking a shortcut through Mitchell's Pub.
OK.....what girl hasn't fantasized about meeting and falling in love with a famous actor?
Thoughtless Series by S.C. Stephens
These books had received 4 star ratings on Goodreads and Amazon so I thought I'd give it a go. Love triangle with a local rock star? I'm in! Plus each book was only $3.99!

    1. Hex Hall is like book dessert for me, It's a fun series and now that it's finished, you can do a mini-marathon. Gods and Monsters is a good series too, it's not your typical monsters, the lead is a Gorgon in this one. Thanks for stopping by.

    1. MIchelle - I really liked SLAMMED. It was the realness of the family situation that got me. I actually cried a few times. I don't know if it's the fact that I'm getting older but I never cried while reading books before and now I find myself getting teary eyed more ofter. Damn these "you're over 30" hormones. LOL!
