Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer

read Chapter One
The last book of the Nightshade Trilogy is here!

Due to insistent fan demand, Andrea Cremer moved up the release date of Bloodrose to January 3 from the original January 28. Talk about power of the people.

So in Wolfsbane Calla went with the Searchers after running away from her bonding ceremony with Ren in order to save Shay. After things settled down a bit, Calla went back to rescue her pack but discovers that her brother Ansel bears a lot of resentment towards her.

And the most painful surprise aside from what happened to her parents,
Ren refused to escape with her.
On top of this Calla is in a difficult love triangle with Shay and Ren.

And it all ends and everything is decided on this book.

Andrea Cremer said that after Bloodrose, she has two prequel books in the works.
So that's another good news for me because aside from Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy and a pinch of Chick Lit here and there, I adore Historical Fiction.

So looking forward to that and this book!

  1. YAY! I requested this book lat week LOL! I can't wait to get my hands on it. I am reading Wolfsbane right now. Can't believe it is almost done, but knowing there will be a prequel? I am so in. Great post hon, thank you :)

  2. I continue to believe that of all the female MCs out there, Calla Tor is one of the best role models to hope for. She's a strong and confident girl who recognizes her own shortcomings and deals with them accordingly. She's a mature leader of her group and is able to solve problems in ways I think some adults would envy. But none of this means that life is easy for her. What I think I mostly want to say about Calla is that she is so very real. There are so many layers and dimensions to her that she's become a real person. And that is awesome.
